This Privacy Policy describes how Joshua Philip ("Joshua Philip," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information in connection with Meshinity, our multi-tenant website and content management platform for restaurants and small businesses, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, do not use the Services.
1. Introduction / Who We Are
Meshinity is operated by Joshua Philip. We provide website hosting, content management, domain and custom hostname support, search-engine and analytics-related tools, dashboards, and related digital services that help local restaurants and small businesses establish and manage an online presence.
Joshua Philip is currently responsible for the Services described in this Privacy Policy. References to "Meshinity" in this Privacy Policy refer to the platform, websites, dashboards, and related offerings provided through Meshinity.
Meshinity is currently operated by Joshua Philip. Philip Technologies LLC is expected to become the operating entity once formation is completed. After formation, this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service may be updated to identify Philip Technologies LLC as the provider of the Services.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information we process in connection with:
- Our marketing website at meshinity.com and related Meshinity web properties;
- Meshinity platform, developer, and tenant administration dashboards used to provision, configure, and manage customer sites;
- Customer websites hosted on or powered by Meshinity subdomains, custom domains, or related infrastructure, where this Privacy Policy is linked or otherwise made available; and
- Communications you send to us, including demo requests, contact form submissions, support inquiries, and other correspondence related to the Services.
Customer business privacy practices
Restaurants and other businesses that use Meshinity to operate their own public websites may collect information directly from their site visitors. Those businesses may maintain their own privacy policies and notices describing how they use information they receive from their customers, guests, or other site visitors.
This Privacy Policy describes Meshinity's practices. It does not replace a customer business's privacy notice to its own site visitors, except where we expressly state that Meshinity processes information on behalf of that customer as described below.
3. Roles: Controller, Processor, and Service Provider
Depending on the context, Meshinity may process information in different roles:
When Meshinity collects and uses information for our own marketing site, demo and contact requests, account registration and administration, billing and support communications (where applicable), platform security, and internal operations, we generally determine the purposes and means of processing and act as the business responsible for that information.
When Meshinity hosts customer content, processes form submissions or other information submitted through a customer website, or otherwise processes information on behalf of a restaurant or business customer at that customer's direction, we generally act as a service provider or processor to that customer. In those situations, the customer business is responsible for providing appropriate notices to its site visitors and for ensuring that its instructions to us and its use of visitor information comply with applicable law.
Customer responsibilities
Customer businesses are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content they publish, the privacy notices they provide to their own users, and their instructions regarding visitor submissions and other data processed through their sites.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit rights that may apply to individuals under applicable privacy laws. Our descriptions of roles are intended to clarify how information flows through the Services and should not be read as a representation that any specific legal framework applies to Meshinity or its customers unless required by law.

8. Customer Sites and Customer Responsibilities
Meshinity hosts and powers customer websites and related tools, but customer businesses control much of the content and configuration on those sites.

10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and fulfill other legitimate business purposes.
